Gearing up for districts! #GoCoyotes!

Good morning patrons, in efforts to keep practicing drills in case of emergency. A-M HS went into into a Hold - where all students keep hallways clear and stay in classrooms to resume business as usual. The Elementary went into a Secure - students remain in the building and business as usual.
During this time Administration worked with local law enforcement to perform routine trainings for the K-9 unit.
Again these are routine drills in-regards to SRP In Case of an Emergency Take Action Protocols.
Any questions please reach out to Administration.
Thank you

GAMEDAY!! We've got a busy one this evening as we host the South Loup Bobcats!
*In addition to this evening's basketball games, we will be recognizing our seniors between the girls and boys games. The elementary dancers will be showing off the skills that they learned at dance camp during halftime of the boys game. Finally, the A-M FFA Chapter will be doing a silent labor auction beginning at 5:30pm.
Tune in to this evening's stream to catch the action and hear our amazing student broadcasters call the game: https://fan.hudl.com/United-States/NE/Merna/organization/19797/Anselmo-Merna-High-School.

Hunger impedes learning. As we work to educate kids, we also recognize that other barriers may prevent our students from shining their brightest. Last semester, Adams Land and Cattle lead a food drive in Custer County. Our school participated in that food drive to collect non perishables for families in need. We have used those items to help support our families and our students. We have also collected some hygiene products and clothing.
How you can help - If you or or someone you know is in need and food / clothing for their young person is a challenge, we want to help. We are targeting Wednesdays and Fridays after school as distribution days, but can be flexible in working with families. If you are needing some assistance, please contact the school and speak with Robin or Molli .
What's coming? Feb 9th, our game against Ansley Litchfield - we will be accepting a non perishable item to get in the game!

Happy School Counselor Week! We are lucky to have Mrs Miller! #GoCoyotes!

The MNAC Instrumental Clinic performance will take place this evening at 5:30pm. For those that won't be able to make it, but would like to give it a watch/listen, here is the link: https://fan.hudl.com/usa/ne/arnold/organization/39450/south-loup-high-school.

Reminder that the FFA Labor Auction is Tuesday
February 6, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:30 pm.
Please use the QR or the link to open up the spreadsheet with the students that are being offered on a “modified silent auction”.
We will take live bids as well as bids by text as we set up headquarters in the cafeteria throughout the games. Watch the bids throughout the night so you can buy the one(s) you want. We had to switch to this method as it is parents night and dance camp performances happening around the games.
We are asking for a starting bid of $70.00 with increments of $10.00 increase.
Either see an Officer in the cafeteria or text your bid to Mr. Koepke at (308) 870-1046 or Mackenzie Burnett at (308) 880-1405. Please include the student name, your name, phone number and your bid.
