VB team @ MNAC

This year's MNAC volleyball tournament was a huge success for the Lady Coyotes. Not only did they win a conference championship for the first time since 1986, but they won the MNAC (formed in 2016) for the first time in school history.

The Lady Coyotes were seeded number two and hosted the first round.  They played Sandhills Valley on Thursday, October 17th, and won in 3-1 sets. On Saturday, October 19th, at the Broken Bow High School, the Lady Coyotes played 3rd seeded Mullen and came away with the sweep, 3-0.  In the evening, they played 4th seeded Sandhills/Thedford. In the first set the Lady Coyotes lost 20-25, but came back and won the second set 25-23, the third set  28-26 and dominated for the fourth set winning 25-19,  and became MNAC champions.

Head Coach Katie Hoblyn commented that “ that winning the conference was their goal for this season.  It is a huge credit to the girls work ethic and drive especially through the last couple of weeks.  They showed up on Saturday with confidence in themselves and confidence in their teammates.”

Congratulations to Coach Hoblyn, and Assistant Coaches Ben McCaslin, Alicia McMullen, and Katie Rush. and the entire 2024 Volleyball team!
