This year thirty-one FFA members qualified for state. They went down to Lincoln on Wednesday April 3rd and made their way back on Friday April 5th. We had 27 members compete this year and the rest went down to help run Junior High Quiz Bowl along with the other members. Anselmo-Merna’s FFA advisor Lonnie Koepke says “We had a great time watching the finals of the speaking contests, workshops and sessions. There were over 7,700 members and guests that the students were able to interact with. Anselmo-Merna members were a fantastic help in conducting the Junior High Ag Quiz Bowl of 128 teams. They help in keeping the contest on schedule and end up with the winning team at the end. It was fun to see the excitement in the members and look forward to a super start for NE”.
See below for all the members that competed and their placings. They all worked very hard this year. Congratulations!
